Bees Knees : Dust Jewelry

Dust is a jewelry line inspired by fairy tale personas, wood nymphs, sea creatures, the macabre, curiosities, mourning jewelry, bones, antique treasures, the 1920’s and 30’s, and mysterious mood changes.
Each one of a kind piece is always meticulously handmade at the Dust Studio located in Echo Park, CA. Here are a few of our favorite pieces from the Dust Collections:

Taste Wonderland has been a devoted fan to Dust Jewelry and its creator for some time now. Dust is like nothing we've seen before and is only getting better with time. With an upcoming spot in the Levi's Spring 2010 Ad Campaign, appearances in Lucky and Foam Magazine and acceptance into the UNIQUE LA event Dust is surpassing the norm.

your clothes are all made by Balmain

S/S 2010 RTW:

The line is nothing short of brilliant. The metallics and epilets and jackets and the denim...I could continue but you can certainly see for yourself! As you should.

Creative director for the line, Christophe Decarnin, has since 2005 put Balmain in a new ball park; his edgy and fierce designs are captivating and alluring. As said in New York Magazine, "And for a label that was once known for ultraelegant evening attire with a draping and pleating focus, Decarnin's appointment took it toward tough-chic, thigh-grazing, body-skimming looks—a sensibility that embraces the quintessential trendsetting French party-girl."

Below is the entire show, definitely worth watching:

Le Muse

I know it's a blast from the past, but upon finding these collages done by Sofia Coppola when she guest-edited December/January 2004 French Vogue, the magic had to be resurrected. She's such an inspiration, an icon, a splendor. She's nothing short of amazing:
