The Nutcracker
San Francisco Ballet is America's oldest professional ballet company, founded in 1933 and performing the first American productions of Swan Lake and Nutcracker, as well as the first 20th-century American Coppélia. As one of the three largest ballet companies in the United States San Francisco Ballet continually maintains an international reputation as one of the elite ballet companies in America.
"Under the direction of Helgi Tomasson since 1985. Commissioning new works by some of today’s most sought-after choreographers, giving rise to young talent, acquiring existing works by master choreographers, and introducing new interpretations of classic full-length productions, Tomasson has created a sophisticated, diverse international repertory that offers powerful entertainment for all audiences." -sfballet.org
This holiday season The Nutcracker performances begin December 8th and end December 27th. Tickets on sale now.

Clap On..
Back in my Los Angeles days I took a leisurely visit to MOMA and purchased a book of matches for my good friend abauer (who is keeping it as cool as a polar bears toe nails in AZ). Then I saw thissss magic in person and put 2 and 2 together:
Limited edition gold wireless light switch encased in lucite.
Tobias Wong, originally from Vancouver studied art and Architecture at Manhattan's Cooper Union and has done collaborations with the likes of Ju$t Another Rich Kid, United Bamboo, Diesel, Burberry and recently released a limited edition iphone in matte black. Here are a couple of my favorite projects by him:
Crystal chandelier dipped in industrial white rubber.
New York City match book.
